1. GENERAL PROVISIONS

a company registered in Lithuania at Baltijos pr. 43-77, LT-94129 Klaipėda.

1.2. These Terms & Conditions (hereinafter – “Conditions”) apply to all functionalities, content, and services provided through the VerusCars booking platform.
Before using the VerusCars website, you must carefully review these Conditions.
By continuing to browse or make a reservation through VerusCars, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Conditions.
1.3. Once accepted, these Conditions become legally binding for you.
VerusCars may update or modify these Conditions at any time.
Any revised version will be published on the VerusCars platform.
Your continued use of the platform after changes have been introduced means that you accept the updated Conditions.
1.4. VerusCars as an Intermediary
VerusCars provides an online marketplace enabling Customers to search, compare, and book rental vehicles offered by independent car rental companies (“Suppliers”).
VerusCars does not own, operate, or manage any car rental fleets and acts solely as a brokerage service facilitating communication and reservation between you and the Supplier.
1.5. Your Agreement with the Supplier
1.5.1. The contract for the provision of rental services is established directly between you and the respective Supplier.
The Supplier’s own Terms & Conditions govern your rental and form the legal basis of your relationship with the Supplier.
1.5.2. By completing a booking on the VerusCars website, you agree to and are deemed to have accepted the Supplier’s Terms & Conditions.
These terms are clearly presented during the reservation process and must be reviewed before confirming the booking.
1.5.3. VerusCars is not a party to the rental agreement concluded between you and the Supplier.
The confirmation voucher issued by VerusCars is not the rental agreement itself—it only confirms that your reservation has been accepted by the Supplier.
1.5.4. You are solely responsible for reading and understanding the Supplier’s complete rental terms (including the rental contract presented at pick-up).
Your signature or acceptance at the rental desk signifies your agreement to all applicable conditions, fees, and obligations.
1.5.12. If any security deposits are blocked or charged at the rental desk, such transactions are executed directly by the Supplier under the terms of the rental agreement between you and that Supplier.
VerusCars, as a brokerage platform, is not responsible for deposit-related transactions, authorisations, or release timelines.
1.6. Our Liability and Limitations
1.6.1. VerusCars does not make any warranties or representations regarding the reliability, quality, or suitability of any Supplier or any service offered by them.
The Supplier is solely responsible for delivering the rental service you have booked.
1.6.2. VerusCars is not liable for any changes made by the Supplier to its Terms & Conditions or local rental policies, nor for any additional fees or charges imposed by the Supplier at the rental desk.
1.6.3. VerusCars bears no responsibility for obligations arising from the contract concluded between you and the Supplier, nor for any damages, losses, service failures, errors, or omissions resulting from the Supplier’s actions or their non-compliance with applicable laws.
1.7. Responsibility for Information Provided
You are responsible for ensuring that all information submitted during the booking—such as contact details, driver names, payment details, and any other required data—is accurate and complete.
VerusCars is not liable for issues resulting from incorrect, incomplete, or misspelled information provided by you, unless the error occurred due to a technical malfunction on the VerusCars platform.
1.8. Right of Withdrawal
Once a reservation confirmation voucher has been issued, you may no longer have the legal right to withdraw from the booking.
This rule follows Lithuanian legislation governing leisure and travel services scheduled for specific dates or periods, for which a withdrawal right may not apply.
2. DATA PROTECTION
2.1. VerusCars recognizes the significance of responsibly handling all personal data collected through its platform.**
We take the protection of your information seriously and apply appropriate measures to safeguard it.
Your data is processed strictly for legitimate business purposes and used only to the extent necessary to provide, support, and improve the services offered by VerusCars.
2.2. VerusCars ensures that all personal data is processed in accordance with applicable European Union data protection legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2016/679.
Your data is processed lawfully in order to fulfill the booking you request.
By using the VerusCars platform, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Your first name and last name will be used to create and identify your booking and to ensure correct reservation details are transferred to the Supplier.
- Your email address will be used to send booking confirmations, including your Voucher, as well as any necessary updates related to your reservation.
- Your phone number may be used to clarify booking-related questions and, when required, to facilitate communication between you, VerusCars, and the Supplier.
- In order to complete your reservation, VerusCars must transmit your booking-related personal data — including your name, surname, contact details, and reservation information — to the relevant Supplier (car rental provider) that will deliver the service.These transfers are necessary to fulfil the booking and ensure that the Supplier has accurate information to provide the rental service.
2.3. The VerusCars platform must not be used for unlawful, fraudulent, speculative, or misleading purposes.
This includes, without limitation:
- submitting false or speculative bookings,
- attempting to misuse or manipulate the platform,
- collecting or extracting Supplier information without a legitimate reason.By accepting these Conditions, you confirm that you will use the VerusCars platform solely for lawful and intended purposes.
3. BOOKING CONFIRMATION
3.1. Booking Confirmation Process
3.1.1. For Car Rentals
Once you complete your reservation, VerusCars Customer Support contacts the relevant Supplier to verify and confirm the requested booking.
After the Supplier approves the reservation, you will receive your official VerusCars Voucher.
For standard bookings, the Voucher is issued up to 72 hours before the scheduled pick-up time.
For reservations made less than 48 hours prior to pick-up, the Voucher may be delivered later, but always no later than 10 minutes before the scheduled pick-up time.
3.1.2. For Flights (If Applicable)
VerusCars is a car rental brokerage platform and does not provide flight booking services.
If at any point flight-related components are displayed or processed through third-party integrations, the following applies:
After finalizing your booking, the external Service Provider issues your confirmation.
Once processed, you will receive a confirmation email containing your booking reference.
If you do not receive the confirmation within 24 hours, please check your inbox, including spam and junk folders, or contact VerusCars Support.
Note: VerusCars does not act as a flight agent, and all flight-related terms fall under the respective provider’s conditions.
3.2. Product and Service Representation
3.2.1. For Car Rentals
Images of vehicles displayed on the VerusCars search results page serve illustrative purposes only.
The actual car provided at pick-up may differ in appearance, equipment, or specifications.
VerusCars cannot guarantee a specific make or model.
The vehicle shown on your Voucher represents the most typical model in that category.
If unavailable, the Supplier will provide an equivalent model or, if possible, a complimentary upgrade to a higher class.
3.2.2. For Flights (If Applicable)
Any flight-related details (such as aircraft type or seat maps) displayed through external providers may change without notice.
A different operating carrier may operate the flight due to codeshare agreements.
VerusCars is not responsible for changes made by airlines or other related providers.
3.3. Customer Responsibility to Review Booking Details
The Customer is solely responsible for verifying all booking details before finalizing payment.
3.3.1. For Car Rentals
You must carefully check:
- rental country,
- pick-up and drop-off locations,
- rental dates and times,
- the Supplier’s Terms & Conditions, including grace periods.It is essential to choose a realistic pick-up time based on your arrival schedule.Failing to review these details may result in a No-Show, for which VerusCars assumes no responsibility.
3.3.2. For Flights (If Applicable)
If flights appear through third-party sources:
- verify that all passenger names match their government-issued IDs exactly,
- confirm the accuracy of airports, flight times, connection durations, and baggage allowances,
- ensure that all required visas, passports, and transit documents are valid.VerusCars does not provide travel or immigration advice.Failure to provide accurate documents may lead to denied boarding or additional fees.
3.4. Reading and Accepting Terms & Conditions
By completing a booking on VerusCars, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Conditions.
If any part of these Conditions is unclear, you are encouraged to contact VerusCars at info@veruscars.com before confirming your reservation.
3.5. Conditions of Use
By accessing the VerusCars platform, you agree not to use it for purposes that are unlawful, misleading, prohibited, or contrary to these Conditions.
You also agree:
not to place speculative, false, or fraudulent bookings,
not to use the VerusCars name or platform for commercial purposes without written permission.
3.6. Ancillary Services & Additional Fees
3.6.1. For Car Rentals
If the Customer chooses to return the vehicle to a different location from where it was collected, a “one-way fee” may apply.
This fee is typically not included in the price shown during reservation and must be paid directly to the Supplier.
3.6.2. For Flights (If Applicable)
Flight prices displayed through third-party integrations may exclude services such as:
- checked baggage,
- seat selection,
- meals,
- priority boarding.These extras are managed exclusively by the airline and are not included in the VerusCars booking price.
3.7. Service Provider’s Terms & Conditions
3.7.1. You agree not to make speculative or false bookings through the VerusCars platform.
3.7.2. Service Provider Liability
The Terms & Conditions displayed for each Supplier are provided by that Supplier at the time of booking.
VerusCars is not responsible for any updates, changes, or modifications made by Suppliers after the booking has been created.
Suppliers are solely responsible for informing Customers of such changes as required by local law.
For car rentals, you are bound by the Rental Agreement presented at the Supplier’s desk.
3.8. Rebooking, Changes, and Modifications
3.8.1. For Car Rentals — Price Drop Rebooking
This applies only to fully prepaid reservations if VerusCars implements such a feature.
3.8.1.1. If the rental price decreases between the reservation date and up to 72 hours before pick-up, VerusCars may rebook your reservation at the lower price.
3.8.1.2. All booking parameters remain unchanged.
3.8.1.3. Any savings are credited to your VerusCars account (if such functionality is active).
3.8.1.4. Credits must be activated within 44 days after the rental drop-off.
If not activated, they expire.
3.8.1.5. Credits remain valid for 2 years and may be used towards future rentals through VerusCars
3.8.1.6. They cannot be applied at the Supplier’s rental desk.
3.8.1.7. Updated Vouchers are sent 72 hours prior to pick-up.
3.8.1.8. If the booking is cancelled or the vehicle is not collected, the saved amount is not refundable.
3.8.2. For Flights (If Applicable)
If flights are booked through external partners:
3.8.2.1. All modifications are governed by the airline’s fare rules.
3.8.2.2. Changes may involve additional penalties, fare differences, or service fees.
3.8.2.3. A modification request is confirmed only after VerusCars verifies it with the airline, obtains Customer approval, and the ticket is reissued.
3.8.2.4. Most airlines do not allow name changes; minor corrections may be allowed at the airline’s discretion.
3.8.2.5. If an airline reschedules or cancels a flight, the airline will provide available alternatives.
VerusCars may help coordinate communication but cannot overrule airline decisions.
4. CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
4.1. General Cancellation Policy
4.1.1. This policy explains the rules, timeframes, and procedures for cancelling reservations made through the VerusCars platform.
By completing a booking through VerusCars, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted all terms described in Section 4 of these Conditions.
4.1.2. How You Can Cancel a Booking
You may cancel your reservation using one of the following methods:
a) Via your User Account (recommended):
Cancellation can be performed directly in the “My Bookings” section after logging in.
b) By contacting Customer Support:
You may also submit a cancellation request to VerusCars Support via email or phone.
4.1.3. Cancellation Processing Time
Cancellation requests submitted to Customer Support may require up to 48 hours to be processed.
For urgent cancellations, VerusCars strongly recommends using the online self-service option.
The cancellation timestamp is determined by:
- the moment the VerusCars system processes the online cancellation, or
- the moment the cancellation request is received by VerusCars Support (for manual requests).
4.1.4. Access to Applicable Cancellation Rules
During the booking process, the most up-to-date cancellation terms relevant to your selected rental will be displayed on the booking page.
These rules will also appear on your confirmation Voucher.
4.1.5. For Car Rentals
If you cancel your reservation up to 48 hours before the scheduled pick-up time, you are eligible for a full refund, as explained in section 4.3.4.
4.1.6. For Flights (If Applicable Through External Partners)
VerusCars is a car rental marketplace and does not sell airline tickets.
However, should flight-related services ever appear through external integration, any such tickets would be governed solely by the fare rules of the issuing airline.
4.2. Force Majeure
4.2.1. VerusCars is not liable and will not issue refunds, credits, or compensation for disruptions caused by Force Majeure events, including but not limited to:
war, terrorism, civil unrest, natural disasters, epidemics/pandemics, strikes, airport closures, government restrictions, or any other unforeseeable events outside VerusCars’ control.
This applies whether the event affects VerusCars’ operations or your ability to pick up the vehicle at the scheduled time.
4.2.2. At its discretion, VerusCars may attempt to contact the Supplier to explore alternative solutions.
Such assistance is not guaranteed and depends entirely on the Supplier’s internal policies, availability, and applicable fees.
4.2.3. All cancellations must follow the instructions provided in clause
4.1.2. of these Conditions.
4.3. Cancellation and Refund Process
4.3.1. All cancellations must be initiated through VerusCars as described in section
4.1.2. If a Customer contacts the rental Supplier directly to cancel, VerusCars cannot guarantee any refund, and this policy will not apply.
4.3.2. Customer Responsibility
It is your responsibility to cancel any booking you no longer intend to use.
4.3.3. Flights (Not Applicable to VerusCars)
As VerusCars does not provide flight reservations, this section is included only for structural consistency and does not apply to VerusCars services.
4.3.4. For Car Rentals — Refund Rules
You may cancel your reservation through your User Account or by contacting Customer Support.
To receive a full refund, cancellation must be submitted no later than 48 hours prior to pick-up time.
Refunds will be issued to your VerusCars Credit Wallet by default.
You may later withdraw the refunded amount to your original payment method at no extra cost or use it for future reservations on the VerusCars platform.
If a cancellation request is submitted less than 48 hours before pick-up, no refund will be issued.
4.3.5. Refunds for Bookings Paid with Credit Wallet Funds
If any BookingCredit™ or VerusCars Wallet funds were used for the booking, the refunded amount will return to your Wallet in the same form.
4.3.6. Refund Request Deadline
Refund requests must be submitted within six (6) months from the cancellation date.
This deadline does not apply to promotional credits or bonuses granted by VerusCars.
4.4. No-Show Policy
A No-Show occurs when you fail to use a booked service without submitting a cancellation request.
No refunds are issued in the event of a No-Show.
4.4.1. Car Rental No-Show Includes:
- failure to collect the vehicle at the scheduled time,
- failure to present required documentation (Voucher, ID/passport, valid driver’s license),
- failure to provide a credit card in the main driver’s name with sufficient funds for the security deposit,
- any situation where the Supplier denies service due to non-compliance with their rental conditions.
VerusCars is not responsible if a Supplier refuses service, but we will assist where possible.
4.4.2. Flight No-Show (Not Applicable)
Included for structure only. VerusCars does not handle flights.
4.4.3. No Refund for Partial Use
No refund applies for partially used services, such as:
- unused rental days
- unused portions of any service
4.4.3.1. Withdrawal Processing Time
Refund withdrawals (if applicable) are typically processed within 30 business days, although timeframes may vary depending on request volume and security procedures.
4.5. Booking Modifications
4.5.1. For Car Rentals
To modify an existing reservation (location, dates, car type, etc.), you must cancel the original booking and create a new one.
If the cancellation occurs more than 48 hours prior to pick-up, the amount will be returned to your Wallet as BookingCredit™ and may be applied to the new reservation.
Please note that modified bookings may result in a different price.
4.5.2. For Flights (Not Applicable)
Included only for parity with the original structure.
4.6. BookingCredit™ and Wallet Terms
4.6.1. BookingCredi is stored in your VerusCars Wallet and may be used toward any future payments on the platform.
4.6.2. BookingCredit remains valid for two (2) years from the date of issue.
Unused credits expire after this period and become non-refundable.
4.6.3. To apply Wallet funds, you must use the same email address associated with the original booking and select Wallet payment at checkout.
4.6.4. VerusCars may grant discretionary credits for promotional or goodwill purposes.
4.7. Withdrawals and Administration Fee
4.7.1. You may request a withdrawal of refundable Wallet funds back to your original payment method within six (6) months of cancellation, provided the credit originated from an eligible refundable booking.
4.7.2. Withdrawal requests must be submitted through your User Account or by contacting Support.
4.7.3. Withdrawals are processed within 30 business days.
This timeframe may extend depending on the complexity of the request.
4.7.4. VerusCars reserves the right to delay or refuse withdrawals if fraudulent activity or misuse of Conditions is suspected.
5. PAYMENT
5.1. General Provisions
5.1.1. By entering your payment details and confirming the payment on the VerusCars platform, you acknowledge your intention to enter into a binding agreement.
Once a confirmation voucher is issued to your email address, the booking cannot be voided unilaterally except as permitted under the Cancellation and Refund Policy outlined in Section 4.
5.1.2. For Car Rentals
The payment structure for your reservation may vary depending on the Supplier and the rental location.
You remain fully responsible for paying any additional products or services selected at the rental counter, such as:
- optional insurance packages,
- GPS devices,
- child seats,
- after-hours fees,
- cross-border fees,
- or any other local charges applied by the Supplier.
It is your responsibility to check which payment methods the Supplier accepts. This information is available on VerusCars under the Supplier’s “Terms & Conditions” before completing the reservation.
5.1.3. For Flights (Not Applicable to VerusCars)
This clause exists solely to preserve structural consistency with the original source.
VerusCars does not offer flight booking services.
5.1.4. Payments Collected by VerusCars
The amount charged by VerusCars includes:
the cost of the selected rental service,
and any optional VerusCars products purchased during booking (such as Full Coverage, where applicable).
This payment is processed and held by VerusCars.
For car rentals, this prepayment does not appear in the rental agreement you sign with the Supplier at the counter, as that agreement covers only the charges collected directly by the Supplier.
5.2. Payment Options
5.2.1. Car Rentals — Partial Prepayment
VerusCars may charge you only a portion of the total rental cost at the time of booking.
The remaining balance, along with any additional extras, must be paid directly to the Supplier at vehicle pick-up.
5.2.2. Car Rentals — Full Prepayment (If Offered)
In certain cases, VerusCars may collect the entire rental price on behalf of the Supplier.
Full prepayment includes:
- the VerusCars service fee,
- and the Supplier’s rental price.
5.2.3. Flights (Not Applicable)
Included only to preserve numbering from the original structure.
5.3. Payment Methods
5.3.1. Available Payment Options
All accepted payment methods are displayed at checkout on the VerusCars platform.
For Car Rentals:
You may complete the online booking using a debit or credit card.
However, at pick-up, the main driver must provide a physical credit card in their own name for the security deposit (see Section 5.4).
If the required credit card is not presented or does not meet Supplier criteria, the Supplier may refuse to release the vehicle.
Such situations are treated as No-Show, and no refunds will be issued.
5.3.2. Currency and Exchange Rates
Prices on the VerusCars platform may be shown in several currencies for convenience.
However, the final charge is processed using VerusCars’ fixed currency exchange model.
Your card issuer may apply additional fees, conversion rates, or foreign transaction charges for which VerusCars is not responsibles.
5.3.3. Cash Payments
Most Suppliers do not accept cash payments for rental charges or security deposits.
Customers are required to use accepted card-based methods.
5.3.4. Affirm Payments (If Applicable)
“Buy Now, Pay Later” options may be available through Affirm.
Eligibility, payment terms, and conditions are determined solely by Affirm.
Single-use virtual cards provided by Affirm apply only to VerusCars prepayment charges and cannot be used at the Supplier’s rental counter.
(Currently available only for eligible U.S. customers.)
5.3.5. Klarna Payments (If Applicable)
VerusCars may offer payment options in cooperation with Klarna.
Payment is completed directly with Klarna and subject to their terms.
Your personal data may be shared with Klarna for eligibility assessment in line with applicable privacy notices.
5.4. Security Deposit Pre-Authorization
(Applies only to car rental bookings.)
5.4.1. Suppliers require a security deposit at vehicle collection.
This deposit is placed as a credit card pre-authorization in the main driver’s name and is used to cover potential charges such as:
- insurance excess,
- fuel discrepancies,
- traffic fines,
- damage or cleaning fees.
5.4.2. The deposit hold is normally released within 30 days after the rental ends, provided no outstanding fees remain.
5.4.3. The credit card presented must:
- belong to the main driver,
- be valid for the entire rental period,
- have sufficient available funds.
Debit cards, prepaid cards, virtual cards, and neobank cards are often not accepted for deposits. If the Supplier rejects the card or payment method, VerusCars will classify this situation as a No-Show.
5.5. Proof of Purchase and Payment
5.5.1. For Car Rentals
The VerusCars Voucher serves as your official proof of reservation and prepayment.
You must present this Voucher at the rental counter.
Failure to do so may result in the Supplier treating your booking as unpaid and requiring a new contract at local rates.
In such cases, VerusCars cannot refund your original payment.
5.5.2. For Flights (Not Applicable)
Included for structure only.
5.6. Currency and Transaction Fees
5.6.1. Any remaining balance or additional fees paid directly to the Supplier must be settled in the local currency at the rental location.
5.6.2. The price shown on VerusCars does not include currency conversion charges or foreign transaction fees imposed by your bank. VerusCars is not responsible for differences between the displayed price and the final amount charged by your bank.
5.7. Extending or Modifying Services After Pick-Up
5.7.1. For Car Rentals
If you wish to extend your rental once you have collected the vehicle, you must arrange the extension directly with the Supplier.
Extensions are subject to the Supplier’s local rates, policies, and availability.
6. PRICE
6.1. General Provisions
6.1.1. VerusCars makes every effort to ensure that all prices displayed on the platform at the time of booking are accurate and up to date.
However, in rare cases of obvious or technical pricing errors, VerusCars reserves the right to correct the displayed price.
If such an error occurs, VerusCars will notify you as soon as reasonably possible.
6.1.2. If a correction is required due to a pricing error, you may choose either:
- to proceed with the booking at the corrected price, or
- to receive a full refund of all amounts already paid for that reservation.
6.1.3. VerusCars may display prices in various currencies for your convenience, using frequently refreshed currency exchange rates.
Your bank or payment provider may apply its own conversion rates or additional fees.
VerusCars is not responsible for any discrepancy between:
- the price displayed on the platform, and
- the final amount charged by your card issuer.
6.2. Quoted Price
6.2.1. Detailed information about what is included or excluded in the price for your selected booking is displayed during the reservation process under the Supplier’s “Terms & Conditions” section and is repeated on your confirmation Voucher.
6.2.2. For Car Rentals
Unless stated otherwise, the quoted price typically includes:
- unlimited or specified mileage according to Supplier policy,
- local taxes (VAT), road taxes, and basic airport surcharges,
- standard breakdown assistance provided by the Supplier,
- mandatory third-party liability coverage,
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) and Theft Protection (TP), which may include an excess (deductible) payable by the Customer.
Exact inclusions vary depending on the Supplier and destination.
6.3. What the Quoted Price Does NOT Include
6.3.1. For Car Rentals
The following items are typically not included in the prepaid VerusCars price and must be paid directly to the Supplier at pick-up (this list is not exhaustive):
- Additional driver fees: charges for adding drivers beyond the main driver.
- Optional extras: child seats, GPS units, Wi-Fi devices, roof racks, winter tires, etc. These depend on local availability and are not guaranteed.
- One-way charges: applied when returning the car to a different location than the pick-up point.
- Fuel costs: depending on fuel policy (e.g., Full-to-Full, Prepaid Fuel). Any refueling or fuel difference charges are payable locally.
- Extra insurance purchased at the counter: such as Super CDW or upgraded protection packages.
- Out-of-hours service fees: applicable for pick-ups or returns outside normal operating hours.
- Cross-border or special permit fees: applied when crossing national borders or entering restricted regions.
These charges vary depending on the Supplier and country and must be settled directly at the rental desk.
6.3.2. For Flights (Not Applicable to VerusCars)
VerusCars does not provide or manage any flight bookings, fees, baggage rules, seat selections, onboard services, travel visas, or health documentation requirements.
7. DRIVER REQUIREMENTS
7.1. Driver’s License
The main driver must present a valid driving license that is legally recognized in the country where the vehicle will be collected.
The driving license must have been issued at least 12 months prior to the pick-up date (or longer, if required by the specific Supplier).
In some destinations, an International Driving Permit (IDP) may be mandatory in addition to the standard national license.
Important:
The IDP is valid only when accompanied by your regular, government-issued driver’s license.
7.2. Driver’s Age
The minimum legal driving age must comply with the laws and regulations of the country where the rental takes place.
7.3. Supplier Age Requirements
It is your responsibility to ensure that the driver’s age falls within the limits set by the selected Supplier.
VerusCars is not liable if, at the time of vehicle collection, you fail to meet the Supplier’s minimum or maximum age requirements.
7.4. Main Driver’s Name
The main driver’s full name (first name and surname) must be correctly entered during the booking process.
Only the person listed as the main driver on the booking will be permitted to collect the vehicle.
7.5. Supplier Terms & Conditions
Each car rental Supplier operates under its own Terms & Conditions, including requirements related to:
- driver eligibility,

The final, legally binding version of the Supplier’s Terms & Conditions will be provided at the rental desk during pick-up.
7.6. Age Restrictions and Additional Fees
Some Suppliers apply extra charges based on the driver’s age, such as:
- young driver fees,
- senior driver fees.
These fees vary by Supplier and country.
For more information, please review the Terms & Conditions of the chosen Supplier prior to completing your booking.
8. PICK-UP CONDITIONS
8.1. Flight Information
If you plan to collect your rental vehicle at an airport location, it is important that VerusCars receives your accurate flight number and arrival time. You may provide this information either online or by contacting Customer Support.
If the details are not available at the time of booking, you must submit them no later than 7 days before your departure.
VerusCars is not responsible for failed rentals caused by incorrect, incomplete, delayed, or missing flight information. Failure to supply such details also removes any responsibility from VerusCars regarding missed pick-ups or availability issues.
8.2. Required Documents at Pick-Up
At the rental desk, you must present:
- a valid driver’s license issued in your country of residence,
- a valid passport or national identity document,
- a valid credit card in the main driver’s name, with sufficient funds for the security deposit, the VerusCars Voucher.
Please note: While you may pay for the booking on the VerusCars website using another person’s card, the card presented at pick-up must belong to the main driver listed on the Voucher. If the required credit card is not provided, the Supplier may refuse to release the vehicle.
8.3. Circumstances in Which No Refund is Provided
VerusCars does not issue refunds and assumes no responsibility if the Supplier refuses to provide the rental vehicle under any of the following circumstances:
8.3.1. A “No-Show” event.
8.3.2. Arriving late for the scheduled pick-up time.
8.3.3. Unused rental days.
8.3.4. Additional services purchased directly from the Supplier.
8.3.5. Failure to provide a valid credit card in the main driver’s name with adequate funds for the security deposit.
8.3.6. If the main driver has previously been blacklisted by the Supplier.
8.3.7. If the Customer arrives at the rental desk under the influence of alcohol or any other intoxicating substances.
8.4. Incorrect Pick-Up Location
VerusCars is not responsible for any issues, claims, or complaints arising from situations where the Customer collects the rental vehicle from a Supplier different from the one indicated on the VerusCars Voucher or from an unauthorized pick-up point chosen independently.
8.5. Delays and Waiting Time
VerusCars is not responsible for any waiting time or delays if the Customer arrives later than the pick-up time stated in the booking. Waiting times vary by Supplier and are outside the control of VerusCars.
9. OTHER PROVISIONS
9.1. Fines, Violations, and Customer Conduct
9.1.1. Car Rentals (Parking Tickets & Traffic Violations)
During the rental period, you are fully responsible for any parking tickets, traffic violations, toll violations, congestion charges, or other penalties incurred while using the vehicle.
The Supplier has the legal right to charge your credit card for such penalties, as well as any administrative fees related to processing these violations.
9.1.2. Flights (Not Applicable to VerusCars)
This clause is included solely for structural consistency.
VerusCars does not provide flight booking services and does not assume liability for any airline-related conduct or penalties.
9.2. Service Disruptions
9.2.1. Car Rentals (Breakdown Coverage)
Most rental rates include standard 24-hour roadside assistance provided by the Supplier.
However, the availability of a replacement vehicle depends on the Supplier’s internal rules and the specific cause of the breakdown.
Situations caused by driver negligence (e.g., lost keys, wrong fuel) may incur additional charges.
9.2.2. Flights (Not Applicable to VerusCars)
Included for structural alignment. VerusCars does not manage flight operations, delays, cancellations, or compensation.
9.3. Complaints
9.3.1. Submitting Complaints to VerusCars
All complaints regarding services provided directly by VerusCars must be submitted exclusively through the VerusCars Help Center or via the designated Support channels.
Complaints must be submitted no later than 28 business days after the scheduled completion of the service (e.g., vehicle drop-off date).
Complaints submitted after this deadline may not be reviewed.
9.3.2. Complaints Related to Supplier Services
If your complaint concerns the service provided by a Supplier — such as the vehicle’s condition, cleanliness, fuel policy application, or staff behavior — you must report the issue directly to the Supplier first.
VerusCars can provide guidance on the appropriate steps but is not responsible for resolving Supplier-related disputes.
9.3.3. Complaint Review Timeframe
VerusCars will evaluate complaints and respond with a decision within 28 business days.
This period may be extended if the case is complex or requires additional investigation with the Supplier.
9.3.4. Customer Response Obligation
If VerusCars requests additional information and the Customer fails to respond within 28 days, the case may be closed without any compensation or resolution.
9.4. Service Provider–Specific Operational Policies
9.4.1. Car Rentals (Fuel Policy)
Fuel policies differ between Suppliers and locations. A common example is the “Full-to-Full” policy:
- You receive the vehicle with a full tank
- You must return it full
If the vehicle is returned with less fuel, the Supplier will charge the cost of refueling plus an additional service fee.
Always review the Supplier’s fuel policy in their Terms & Conditions before pick-up.
10. FULL COVERAGE
10.1. Full Coverage Overview
10.1.1. Full Coverage protects you from paying the excess (deductible) charged by the car rental Supplier if the rental vehicle is damaged or stolen.
It reimburses the Customer for any deductible/excess amount withheld by the Supplier or charged by their insurance partner, as long as the incident meets the conditions of this policy.
10.1.2. Many rental offers include a Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) provided by the Supplier.
CDW limits your liability to an excess amount in the event of vehicle damage. However, CDW typically does not cover damage to:
- windscreens,
- tyres,
- roof,
- undercarriage,
- locks,
- keys.
If the Supplier charges you the excess, you must pay it directly to the rental desk.
Full Coverage does not replace the Supplier’s CDW.
VerusCars cannot accept responsibility if CDW is not included in the rental price and you fail to provide proof of alternative CDW coverage when required by the Supplier.
10.1.3. If you purchase Full Coverage through VerusCars, it applies to unexpected costs arising under the local rental agreement, including approved excess charges.
10.2. What Is Covered?
10.2.1. Reimbursement of the damage excess you were charged after an incident involving the rental vehicle.
10.2.2. Reimbursement of the theft excess if the vehicle is stolen.
10.2.3. Costs for damage to mechanical or exterior components that are not covered by the Supplier’s CDW, including (but not limited to):
- bodywork,
- roof,
- undercarriage,
- windows, windscreen, and mirrors,
- locks,
- wheels, tyres, hubcaps,
- engine, clutch, battery.
10.2.4. Towing fees related to damage or breakdown.
10.2.5. Costs for replacing a lost or stolen rental vehicle key.
10.2.6. Administrative or processing fees charged by the Supplier.
Note: For international payments, bank charges may apply. These are shared between the Customer and VerusCars.
10.3. What Is Not Covered?
10.3.1. Damage or incidents resulting from negligent or unlawful behaviour, including:
- driving under the influence,
- misfuelling,
- off-road driving,
- violating local road rules,
- failing to follow the Supplier’s rental agreement.
10.3.2. Costs for optional extras (GPS, child seats, winter tyres, etc.).
10.3.3. Loss or theft of personal belongings.
10.3.4. Any accommodation costs or additional personal expenses.
10.3.5. Cleaning fees or damage to the interior caused by misuse.
10.3.6. Bank fees or losses caused by differences in exchange rates.
10.3.7. Third-party damages (i.e., damage to other vehicles or property).
10.3.8. Damage caused by natural disasters, war, or acts of terrorism.
Policy Limitations
Full Coverage claims must be submitted within 30 days after the rental ends.
Full Coverage reimburses damage/theft excess up to EUR 1,000 (or equivalent in local currency).
How to Receive Compensation (Claims Process)
If an eligible incident occurs:
- Submit a claim via the My Booking section on the VerusCars website.
- VerusCars Support will review your documentation and inform you whether the claim qualifies.
- Compensation is issued exclusively to your VerusCars Wallet. If you do not yet have an account, you must create one.
- Once your Wallet is activated, the refunded amount will be credited to it.
- To withdraw funds to your preferred payment method, submit a withdrawal request through the My Bookingsection.
- Approved funds will be transferred within 14 days.
10.4. Full Coverage Cancellation
10.4.1. You can cancel your Full Coverage policy at any time through the My Bookings section.
If cancelled more than 48 hours before pick-up, you receive a 100% refund credited to your VerusCars Wallet, with a free withdrawal option to your original payment method.
10.4.2. If you cancel the Full Coverage less than 48 hours before pick-up or after collecting the vehicle, no refund will be provided.
10.4.3. Full Coverage products may be provided by different third-party protection partners.
Coverage specifics and terms will be displayed during the booking process.
VerusCars may cancel your policy without refund if:
- abusive or threatening behaviour is directed toward VerusCars staff, or
- fraudulent activity is suspected.
Please note:
Even with Full Coverage, the Supplier will still block the full security deposit at the rental desk.
10.5. Other Full Coverage Providers
10.5.1. VerusCars may offer Full Coverage options supplied by third-party protection providers.
Where applicable, each provider’s terms, coverage rules, exclusions, and claims procedures will be shown during booking and must be followed.
10.6. Complaints and Feedback
10.6.1. If your Full Coverage is issued by a third-party insurance partner, any complaints regarding the product, claim evaluation, or service must be submitted according to that provider’s own complaint handling process.
10.6.2. Submitting a Complaint
To allow efficient case review, please include:
- your full name,
- policy or booking number,
- contact information,
- a summary of the issue and desired outcome.
Providers may request additional information if needed.
10.6.3. Review Process
All complaints are logged and reviewed impartially by the insurer or protection provider.
If further data is required, you will be contacted during the investigation.
All case-related information is handled confidentially.
10.6.4. Response to Complaints
A written response will typically be issued within 20 days after receiving your complaint.
If additional time is required due to the complexity of the case, you will be informed of a revised timeline.
10.6.5. Further Action
If you remain unsatisfied with the resolution, you may escalate your complaint to the relevant financial or regulatory authority in the provider’s jurisdiction.
11. LAST MINUTE CANCELLATION
11.1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of the Last Minute Cancellation product (“the Product”) offered by VerusCars (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
By purchasing the Product on our website, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by these Terms.
Please read them carefully before completing your purchase.
11.2. Product Description
The Last Minute Cancellation Product provides Customers with additional flexibility to cancel a confirmed booking on short notice and receive a full refund in the form of VerusCars Credit, which is deposited to the Customer’s Wallet on the VerusCars platform.
This Product is available exclusively through the VerusCars website and may only be purchased during the booking process.
11.3. Eligibility
To purchase and use the Last Minute Cancellation Product, you must:
be of legal age to enter into a binding agreement, and
have a valid, active user account on the VerusCars website.
11.4. Product Purchase
To purchase the Product, follow the instructions presented during the booking process.
You must provide accurate and complete information, including valid payment details.
Incorrect or incomplete information may limit your ability to use the Product.
11.5. Cancellation Policy
The Last Minute Cancellation Product does not apply if you cancel your booking less than one hour before the scheduled pick-up time.If you cancel your booking:
- the fee paid for the Last Minute Cancellation Product is non-refundable,
- if you cancel less than 48 hours before pick-up and have purchased the Product, you will receive the full booking amount (excluding the cost of the Product) to your VerusCars Wallet.
These funds cannot be withdrawn to the original payment method and may only be used for future bookings on VerusCars.
After a booking is confirmed and the Product is purchased, no refund of the Product fee is available.
11.6. Refund Process
Refunds for eligible cancellations will be issued promptly into your VerusCars Wallet.
Please allow up to 1 business day for the refund to appear in your Wallet balance.
11.7. Limitations
The Last Minute Cancellation Product applies only to cancellations made within the permitted time criteria.
The Product may not be available for all vehicles, dates, or Suppliers, and availability may vary depending on location and the Supplier’s policies.
11.8. Changes to Terms
VerusCars reserves the right to amend or update these Terms at any time without prior notice.
It is your responsibility to review the Terms regularly to remain informed about any changes.
11.9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Last Minute Cancellation Product if you violate these Terms or if we have reasonable grounds to suspect fraudulent or abusive activity.
Termination may occur without prior notice.

11.11. Governing Law
These Terms and your use of the Last Minute Cancellation Product are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania.
By purchasing the Product, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms, which form a legally binding agreement between you and VerusCars.
12. ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE
12.1. Overview
With Roadside Assistance, you can feel secure knowing that you have dedicated support in case an unexpected situation occurs during your rental period.
This service ensures that you know exactly whom to contact and how to proceed if an emergency arises while on the road.
12.2. What Is Included
12.2.1. Telephone hotline support for urgent guidance and assistance.
12.2.2. Email-based assistance for non-urgent inquiries related to your rental situation.
12.2.3. Direct communication with the rental Supplier to help coordinate necessary actions during an emergency.
12.3. Situations Covered by Roadside Assistance
Roadside Assistance applies in the following circumstances:
12.3.1. A road accident involving the rented vehicle.
12.3.2. A dead battery.
12.3.3. A flat tyre.
12.3.4. Assistance with unlocking the vehicle if you are locked out.
12.4. Cancellation of Roadside Assistance
12.4.1. To cancel your Roadside Assistance service, visit the My Bookings section on the VerusCars website.
If cancelled more than 48 hours before the scheduled pick-up time, you are eligible for a 100% refund, which will be issued to your VerusCars Wallet.
A free withdrawal to your original payment method is also available in accordance with the VerusCars refund policy.
12.4.2. If you cancel less than 48 hours before the scheduled pick-up time, the service cannot be cancelled and no refund will be issued.
13. DISCOUNTS AND SPECIAL OFFERS
13.1. General Rules
Discounts, promotional offers, and special deals provided by VerusCars cannot be combined unless explicitly stated otherwise.
All promotions are valid only for new reservations created during the promotional period.
13.2. Use of Discount or Promo Codes
Any discount code or promotional code must be applied at the time of booking.
Promo codes cannot be added retroactively once the reservation is completed and a confirmation voucher has been issued.
13.3. Validity of Displayed Rates
All promotional rental rates presented in newsletters or marketing materials are valid at the time the newsletter is sentand are typically shown based on a 7-day rental period.
Discounts are calculated using the best available offers at the moment of publication and may vary depending on location, Supplier, vehicle availability, and travel dates.
14. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
The booking reservation, these Terms & Conditions, and all related email communication, which together form an integral part of the booking agreement, shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Lithuania.
Any claim, dispute, or disagreement arising out of or in connection with these Terms & Conditions or the booking reservation shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Republic of Lithuania.
